Textiles are the core business sector of our group. We are proud to quote ourselves as the largest group in India catering to every aspect of textiles, right from cotton to apparel brand retailing.

Cotton Ginning:

The group has three Cotton Ginning Units, Shanmugha Ginning Factory, Jayalakshmi Ginning Factory and Shanmugha Mills. We use our own ginning plant for Extra Long Staple fiber that goes
through a very gentle treatment. The result – a product that offers luxury and an experience so close to nature.

Terry Towel

One of the Home Textiles divisions of our group – Sharadha Terry Products Ltd, manufactures world class premium quality terry towels. The products are tagged under the brand “MicroCotton” and co-brands with leading players that include Ralph Lauren, Bloomingdales, Macys, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dillard’s, Laura Ashley and many more.

Yarn Spinning:

Total production capacity of more than 150,000 kilos of yarn a day from 2’s to 120 counts. Ten (10) yarn spinning facilities that come under three main companies:

The Kadri Mills (Cbe) Ltd.,
Sri Kannapiran Mills, and
Sri Palanimurugan Enterprises Ltd.,

One of the largest Open End yarn manufacturer in India. SPM, the apparel division has a large, vertically integrated garment facility that includes knitting, fabric singeing, gassing, mercerizing, soft flow dyeing, open width finishing and sewing. Caters to leading brands like United Colors of Benetton, Pima Direct, Cutter & Buck, Tehama, Divots, Gymboree, Kiabi, Perry Ellis, tricots straphael, Fubu and Coldwater Creek.

Real Estate

KG5 brings the cutting edge in technology, the best of class products, for the state of art Homes, delivered with a passion that sculptures a new life style, enabling people to live the dream.

KG5 focuses on Ultra Luxury homes, priced from $3 million per home. Currently the group has a land bank of about 1000 acres for development in Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai.
